THE STORY OF MY LIFE

I’m Valencia Mitchell

 

My life’s passion and purpose is to help people of all ages and backgrounds love and accept themselves as they are. 

I am a mentor and relationship life coach, working to inspire people to be better and face life’s challenges with resilience and confidence. I’ve worked with people facing several situations in their personal life, from low self-esteem, relationship issues, and bullying, to divorces and single parenting. 

 

Challenges are just a new limit to be conquered 

 

My passion for mentoring and coaching stems from my own experiences and challenges. My life’s journey through heartache, disappointments, and obstacles to my goals has been long and arduous, ultimately making me physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally stronger. 

My challenges gave me a valuable lesson, namely, that I needed to be honest and accepting of my life’s path, bumps and hardships. And more importantly, that imperfections and obstacles were normal in life. Instead of complaining about what wasn’t going right, I decided to celebrate everything that was good in my life. And what would you know? Once I began to love myself, my life’s roadmap became clearer, and the burden of failures I carried in my heart began to feel lighter. Facing challenges and motivating myself to keep pushing through was a new and round-the-clock task. 

It was not easy breaking out of procrastination, or asking for help when I needed it. Focusing on myself instead of losing myself in the daily grind was also a challenge. Nevertheless, I focused on myself, the hobbies I enjoyed, the pain I never processed and the limitations I never addressed. By clearing up past blocks, I created space in my life for new experiences, new beliefs, and new relationships that helped me grow. 

Mindset of healing

 

A mindset that guides me in my personal life and the work I do as a mentor and coach is that of mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Before taking important decisions, I emphasize on two questions:

- Does this healthily serve me?

- Will this be unhealthy for me in the long term?

 

My self-transformation began with being more in tune with my thoughts and feelings and being ready for opportunities to change. Today, my life is filled with things I enjoy, writing, giving back to society, meeting my goals, and making incredible connections with like-minded people.

If I can do it, so can you! I started Free2BMe as a way to help others develop a healthier and happier life by learning to love and accept themselves. I focus on helping men and women of all ages manifest their dreams, by empowering them with the knowledge, guidance, and resources they need to meet attainable short-term goals that gradually push them closer to their ideal life. 

When you become aware of your purpose and guiding light, you can take your life in a clear direction. As a professional mentor and life coach, I can help you gain this clarity! I am committed to inspiring others to transform their lives, one step at a time. 

I help people navigate the ups and downs of life using my coaching skills and tools, and sometimes, by simply listening attentively to their life stories without judgment or criticism so they can relieve their burden. I believe in speaking from the heart and leading my sessions with compassion with a little fun, and a sprinkle of humor to help you feel more comfortable and open while finding the best way of addressing your situation.
